Hair archiveThe American tribal love-rock musical. Nudity was optional, songs include "Dawning of the Age of Aquarius". When Claude, a country boy from Oklahoma, arrives in late 1960s New York City, he falls in with a group of hippies called the Tribe, led by Berger, who falls in love with rich girl Sheila. Their free love and drug-enhanced happiness is disrupted by Claude's Vietnam draft orders. In this adaptation of the famous cult 60s hippy musical, we re-evaluate the theme of love and war, post September 11th. Songs include Aquarius, Where Do I Go, Good Morning Starshine, Let the Sunshine In and many more. The concepts that lay behind the original musical are still there, and the themes are as relevant today, as they were when first performed over 30 years ago.
