Details

Based on a true story and set in Spain in 711 when Julian starts a war between the Moors and Spain in the belief that his daughter Florinda has been seduced by King Roderic. User Review: 11Jan01: lukewarm reviews from much of the press (not all) which undervalued an interesting story, excellent casting and well written songs clearly executed. The scenery was ingenious and eye catching and all presented with enthusiasm and gusto & feeling. The audience obviously thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and felt involved and entertained. Should appeal to a wide range of people & ideal for taking visitors to London to see a production that has much to recommend it.
