Roads is an entirely new, thought provoking and often comical musical. Set in 1923, it follows the story of Eliya Hamilton, who has been trapped in a world of rules and restrictions by her father ever since her mother died in the First World War. Now Eliya is seventeen, and engaged to a man she does not love, she begins to wonder if what she has is all there is. However, she falls in love with another man just days before her arranged wedding, this places her at the crossroad of the hardest decision of her life. Combining these themes of love, faith and choice, everyone can learn something from this enlightening performance.
