When he saves the life of the miller's pure-hearted daughter, he makes good her father's boast that she can spin straw into gold, but attempts to extract a terrible price in return. Years later, the daughter, now with child, has to face this terrible man one more time and honour his hopeless deal, unless, of course, she can... Guess. His. Name.
