Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens archiveIn a seedy cabaret club on the far flung planet, Frottage III, danger lurks in every corner as cabaret acts are being picked off one by one by a relentless serial killer. All is not lost as the Space Vixens arrive to solve the mystery - interstellar, super-fashion crime fighters here to save the day by the 'power of disco'! Intergalactic space thriller with sequin bound enforcement agents. Mayhem Musical Theatre Company will be strutting their stuff in glitter boots and silver leather, bringing alive the sinfully saucy characters and songs from the hit show. First performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1995, and more recently starring Faye Tozer in the West End, Saucy Jack has achieved a cult following across the country. Wherever it has played, it has consistently delighted people with its explosive energy and its unique relationship with the audience. Director, Hannah Baldwin, says "Saucy Jack is a colourful and vibrant homage to everything wicked and raunchy. Glam rock meets disco head-on in this spoof murder mystery - and it’s going to set the local theatre scene on fire!" With a young and talented cast, who have previously rocked Surrey and South London with other vibrant shows such as last year's sell-out We Will Rock You, Mayhem Musical Theatre Company look set to bring some red hot spice to the Adrian Mann theatre.
