Scrooge - the Musical archiveA musical version of Dickens' most adapted, performed and loved story - the tale of Ebenezer Scrooges journey from ordinary young man to cruel skinflint and his redemption by the three spirits of Christmas. The ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future show him the futility of his ways. This festive musical, based on Dickens' much-loved A Christmas Carol, started life as the memorable 1970 film starring Albert Finney before transferring to the stage. The Scottish premi?re production - featuring a large cast and live band, spectacular sets and costumes, and spooky special effects - promises to be one of the most memorable Christmas musicals ever staged at PFT! Christmas Eve, 1843: the cruel money-lender Ebenezer Scrooge is confronted by the ghost of his former partner, Jacob Marley, who warns Scrooge that he faces damnation unless he mends his ways. Can Scrooge be redeemed? All will be decided by the three spirits who visit him in the course of the night .
