Details
Satirical look at opera and the upper classes. The opera is set around the love of an innocent girl, daughter of criminal parents, for a highwayman. Contains such great lines as "hang your husband and be dutiful", "do you think your mother and I would have been happy had we been married?". A new reworking of John Gay's 1788 classic set in a South African London in the 1700s.
