On a steam train en route to an unknown location, an old man sleeps in an empty carriage when he abruptly awoken by a mysterious young girl. They are son joined by a young man who is quite obviously sick and gasping for air. Together, the three spend what seems like the longest journey of their lives. What are they travelling to? When will they arrive? and who is the girl in the picture?
