Showstopper! is entirely improvised: a brand new musical is created at each performance. And on 8 November, we'll be taking over the house and inviting you, our favourite theatregoers, to create Whatsonstage.com - THE MUSICAL. We'll invite you to contribute suggestions for full title, plot, characters, musical styles, choreography and design. Whatsonstage.com editorial director Terri Paddock will then write a review of the fictional musical, which she'll read aloud to open the evening, after which the amazing Showstoppers will take over to create something unforgettable... Utterly unpredictable, frequently side-splittingly funny, packed with drama and featuring dazzling dance routines and catchy melodies, the award-winning Showstopper! leaves delighted audiences singing all the way home – and we're hoping that they'll help us create a Whatsonstage.com theme tune that will be worthy of its own award! Whatsonstage.com - THE MUSICAL will be performed as part of Showstopper!'s new London dates at the King's Head, running every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evening until 21 December. This latest residency follows hit seasons at the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Edinburgh Fringes, UK-wide touring and other London stints at the Leicester Square, Greenwich and Drill Hall theatres as well as the King's Head.
