When Harry Met Barry archive The show is a modern love story told with humour - a quirky tale of boy meets girl... and then meets boy, with the 'help' of a visiting angel whose matchmaking efforts go awry. And yes, the main story is a gay love story. But as the reviews first time round were keen to point out this is a show for everyone, regardless of sexuality. It is a story of young love and everyone's basic need for companionship, or even just a hug... whether it's the girl who wants to be married, the trendy young clubber, the busy TV chef working anti social hours or the ambitious lawyer.
