Details

- Why did Ian McCaskill broadcast without his shoes on? - How did Michael Fish miss the hurricane in 87? - Will Global Warming affect you? Bill Giles led the BBC weather team for 17 years and was awarded the OBE in 1995 for services to weather broadcasting. This humorous evening, liberally splashed with anecdotes about his fellow presenters, will answer all your questions on the weather including how hurricanes are born and how and why some clouds are mistaken for UFOs. There will be the opportunity to chat with Bill during the interval and after the show, as well as the chance to take home some weather-related merchandise at the end of the evening.
