Following sell-out performances at Chapter in 2007 and Experimentica 08, Cai Tomos continues to explore his obsession and fascination with the heart. He takes a closer look anatomically, emotionally and culturally at the heart as a symbol we identify with, mixing the scientific with personal stories and celebrating the ordinary and the extraordinary moments of human experience. Calon fuses movement, text and live sound manipulation in an attempt to connect to other hearts. Tomos explores what makes us tick as he resurrects, recalls and replays memories in the hope of bringing them back to life.
