Details

Choreographer, journalist and author, Hoghe reads out love letters exploring the pain of absence and longing. The emotional void is filled with a range of objects (chopsticks and lipstick, a shell, a paper flag) as, accompanied by the music of Jacques Brel, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, he sketches pictures of the rituals we use to overcome longing in a performance finely balanced between sentimentality and self-irony.
