Previous Poet Laureate of Peterborough, and Edinburgh Fringe Slam Champion, Mark Grist has been touring nationally for the past year. During this time, he's met loads of people, and then forgotten pretty much all of them. Most people can remember names. Most people can remember where they grew up; or the street they lived in. But Mark can't. Which is odd. Particularly, as all those things happened on an island with less than 1,000 inhabitants, but with seals and puffins and bogs. Well, in his new one-man show, Shetland Boy Mark attempts to teach his memory who's boss. Come and enjoy his lyrical storytelling - and absurdly big hat.
