An extraordinary one-woman band in a burlesque concert. This performance is crafted from the joys and set-backs generated from 36 years of living. Family memories, frustrated women in their knickers, love and dreams...are all sources of inspiration for Rachel's music. Both intimate and big, this is music from the heart. In this clownesque universe the ordinary clashes with the unusual. Here an entire ocean washes across the stage, cellos waltz, shoes chase feet and noses play jigs on flutes. Funny and human this is music cooked into a delicious feast. A dinner for the senses.
