Details

A story of love, war and history set within a village community during 1914/1918, the scenes move between the village and the Western Front. A village-generated opera written to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. It weaves in the tale of Llangwm brothers who are recruited and sent to France on the eve of the Battle of the Somme. One was shot, so his brother went to his rescue him, Both died and it is a heart-wrenching story.
