Placing the well loved tale of Aladin in a modern setting, we see it moved to the Morrocan shops of the Goldborne rd. The Sultan replaced with a certain well known flame haired duchess obsessed with weight watches guards her daughter the princess who is more interested in going on the town and having fun...Started by Kevin Allen and Anna Chancelor back in the 80’s, the Portobello Panto was the first of the mordernised pantos, which appealed to adults and children alike. With surreal and outrageous humour they lovingly mock the very area and institution that they support. With the usual promise of celebrity cameos, who have ranged from Ray Winstone, to David Gest, the popularity of this Panto shows no signs of diminishing.. As always all proceeds will go to charity.
