It is the wedding day of Luke Skywarbler and Princess Leyla on Planet Hollywood. Everybody is assembled at the palace, but the ceremony is interrupted by the arrival of the evil Dingdongs, led by Captain Maast Richt, who kidnap the Princess. Everybody is distraught, thinking that they will never see her again because they don't have a space ship in which to go and find her. But all is not lost because another space ship arrives: the Starship Entertain, containing a motley crew of semi-recognisable characters, who are on their way back from a five year mission to boldly go where no one has gone before. So they set off o n board the Starship Entertain, in search of Princess Leyla. Their journey takes them to several very strange planets, before they reach the stronghold of Captain Maast Richt, Kastle Dingdong.
