User Review: 17Dec06: Fantastic Christmas show from the Library Theatre. Outstanding production with something for all, adults and children alike. The story is adpted from the Grimm fairy tale of the same name with a smattering of Shakespeare's Mid Summer Nights Dream thrown in for good measure. The cast are all brilliant with Paul Stocker really engaging as the hero or anti-hero of the piece but the show is stolen by Rebecca Hulbert as the Fairy Queen and the brilliant Stephen Finegold as the Fairy King and he plays a fantasticly mad cameo as the Hermit who instructs Dummling on how to uninvent things, sheer brilliance from surely one of the country's most adaptable actors (he played Bill Sykes at the Library theatre's christmas production last year). All in all a brilliant nights entertainment for the whole family.
