Production details

The annual lively and colourful celebration of black history and culture. To celebrate the World Cup, this year’s event will have a special focus on South African culture. Featuring a wealth of local talent, an evening of uplifting song and dance culminates with a performance by Baraka whose exciting dance rhythms, soaring melodies and funky grooves combines West African highlife, South African township and calypso, soca and reggae from the Caribbean. Joining the celebrations will be Dr Zola Skweyiya, High Commissioner for the Republic of South Africa.
