Inside a gallery of amazing electrical curiosities, harmonic frequencies are emitted to realign the audiences ?super-electrical field' in an immersive journey that mixes theatre with science. Internationally acclaimed sound artist Ray Lee expertly manipulates and fine tunes his collection of obscure objects - the ?Multiwave Oscillethergraph Generator', the ?Sonionic Analyser' and the ?Ethomagnetrons' - to create a hypnotic, mesmerising soundscape. It will make you feel happy. Ray Lee is an artist, composer and performer best known for his large scale installation and performance Siren, which won a Herald Angel Award at Edinbrugh Fringe 2007 and received 5 star reviews before touring to 12 countries. His work investigates his fascination with the hidden world of electro-magnetic radiation and in particular how sound can be used as evidence of invisible phenomena He is interested in the way that science and philosophy represent the universe, and his work questions the orthodoxies that emerge, and submerge, according to the currently fashionable trends. He lectures in contemporary arts and music at Oxford Brookes University. Ethometric Museum is part of the Summer Cook Up Season at BAC. This summer's Cook Up Season takes place in the setting of BAC's re-imagined foyer space and caf? bar, with everything from early scratches to large-scale finished shows, events, talks and parties right across their beautiful home in Battersea's old Town Hall.
