Joining Forces brings together the highly creative talents of writer Vayu Naidu and composer Orphy Robinson in an evening that will transport you across eras, continents and culture. Hear tales of Ghandi's time in South Africa in the 20's, of West Indian Airmen in the 40's and Afro-American stories that'll teach you a thing or two. A renowned jazz musician, Orphy's percussive music echoes Vayu's compelling storytelling, whilst dancer Shane Shambhu blends contemporary moves and bharata natyam (South Indian dance).
