On Tuesday, we are joined by Paula Garfield from Deafinitely Theatre. Deafinitely Theatre are the first deaf launched and deaf led professional theatre company in the UK producing quality bilingual theatre in British Sign Language and spoken English. On Thursday, vocal coach Leon Trayman joins us for a voice masterclass. Leon has worked as a singing teacher at the world famous Brit School, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts & on the Musical Theatre degree course at Colchester Institute. He also lectures in voice at The University of Northampton. Due to the diversity of Leon's training & experience, he approaches his teaching & performance from musical, theatrical, directorial & technical voice perspectives.

On Tuesday, we are joined by Tori Allen-Martin from Burn Bright. Burn Bright is a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to champion women and level the playing field wherever possible - creating a network and opportunities to build writers up, lobbying for change, and calling out inequality and bad practise where they see it. Since Burn Bright's formation, writers Tori Allen-Martin and Sarah Henley have launched three initiatives: Time Bank, to connect writers who identify as women with industry professionals willing to offer mentorship, feedback and advice on a variety of topics affecting playwrights; Connect, a series of online panel discussions providing invaluable tools for professional and personal development and Better in Person, five short plays by five fantastic women written for and set on a Zoom call. On Thursday, creative producer Georgia Attlesey joins us - Georgia is a creative producer making big ideas more accessible through culture. She has programmed and delivered large scale events from prize ceremonies to festivals, gigs and performances. In the last seven years she has demystified philosophy for the HowTheLightGetsIn festival, popularised poetry at Poet in the City and the Forward Prizes and made climate change compelling to the creative community for Julie's Bicycle. Now freelance, she runs the Achates Philanthropy Prize and oversees public programming for London Film School. A Roundhouse Creative Entrepreneur alumni, Georgia has spoken on art and change at the Barbican, Southbank Centre and Wellcome Collection. She mentors for the Roundhouse and Arts Emergency. Georgia is developing Pudding, a discussion platform for audiences to digest cultural performances. She will cover what a creative producer does, tips for transitioning to a freelance career, and why you might not know that your dream job in the arts sector exists.

On Tuesday, we are joined by Clarissa Widya from Papergang Theatre. They produce work that is informed by the East Asian experience within Britain and the East Asian diaspora, inspired by the desire to see that perspective on stage. Clarissa leads the company as a producer. Since Papergang Theatre's foundation in 2013, Clarissa has facilitated writing workshops and R&Ds, and produced staged readings and scratch nights. In 2018, Papergang Theatre became a charity and Clarissa worked on a rebrand with Associate Director Kim Pearce before going on maternity leave. A year later, Papergang Theatre returned with more socio-political projects: Tiananmen 30 (2019) at the Omnibus Theatre; Invisible Harmony ????? at the Southbank Centre and Freedom Hi ??? followed in 2020, the latter winning VAULT Show of the Week. This session will cover the development of Papergang Theatre, growing into a career and being a parent in the theatre industry. On Thursday, theatre designer Isabella Van Braeckel join us - Isabella is a London-based Designer for Performance, specialising in New Writing, Opera and Dance across Fringe Theatre and in the West End. On Monday, we are joined by Ben Pettitt-Wade from Hijinx, a not-for-profit professional theatre company who cast learning disabled actors in award-winning productions which tour the world. Ben has devised and directed numerous productions for the company; his most recent production, The Flop, was shortlisted for a Total Theatre Award at the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. On Tuesday, Stella Wilkie 2020/ award-winner Macadie Amoroso talks about my journey into the arts and experiences as an actor and writer in the industry, how her debut show Blue Beneath My Skin came about, and the trajectory it's taken since. On Wednesday, sound designer Tingying Dong talks about her approach to interpreting a script/project from a sound design perspective, and some methods she uses to enrich the sound design and therefore to enrich the piece. Ting is a sound designer, composer, and technician from Beijing, she was trained at LAMDA and has since been based in London. Thursday will be a Skills Session with Ita O'Brien and David Thackeray, intimacy consultants. The have developed industry standards for Intimacy on set and promote best practice within the industry. They have worked on numerous high profile productions including SEX EDUCATION and PENNYWORTH and for international broadcasters including Netflix, Warner Bros, Apple TV, Channel 4, Sky and HBO. On Friday, Katie Berglof, Will Irven & Imy Wyatt Corner from Swings and Roundabouts discuss their mission to create community for theatre makers, and look to their future projects within the Covid-landscape and beyond. On Monday, we catch up with Ryan Calais Cameron from Nouveau Riche, a multi-award-winning creative movement, who wasn't able to join us a couple of weeks ago. They are the team behind the critically acclaimed Queens of Sheba, and Typical. On Tuesday, ex-Editorial Director of Oberon Books, George Spender, will discuss theatre publishing and how it works. George published hundreds of playwrights including Duncan Macmillan, Robert Icke, Lemn Sissay, Simon Stone, Laura Wade, Tanika Gupta, Scottee, Barney Norris and Alice Birch, and performance groups Action Hero, Rash Dash, Forest Fringe and Ontroerend Goed. He founded Salamander Street in 2019 while living in Edinburgh. Now based in Bristol, the company focuses on new writing and Theatre-in-Education work. On Wednesday, theatrical agent Alex Cory, a dramatists and creatives agent at Berlin Associates, one of the UK's best-known boutique agencies for film, TV and theatre, will talk about what an agent is and how to get one. Her clients include writers Amy Ng, Asif Khan, Chris Bush, Greer Ellison, Iman Qureshi, Kaamil Shah, Maud Dromgoole, Ross Willis, Satinder Chohan, Selma Dimitrijevic, Tariq Jordan, Tatty Hennessy, Teddy Lamb and directors Katie Posner, Guy Jones, Harry Mackrill, Lucy Jane Atkinson, Ng Choon Ping and Poonam Brah. Thursday will be a Skills Session with Flux Theatre, a London based new writing company creating socially engaging theatre, offering insights into running your own theatre company.
