Medium Rare is a 'variety' show. A veritable melange of myriad oeuvre. It is an evening of short films, cabaret, comedy, opera, readings, magic and live music. Eschewing the faddish pull of Burlesque in favour of a broader approach to entertainment, namely, if it's good and funny enough, or crazy and death defying enough, or weird and wonderful enough, then it's in. Medium Rare is a bit bloody, a bit raw, a bit flame grilled and everything excellent.
