Sixty by Sixty is a totally unique collaborative experience, part of the SJT's 60th birthday celebrations. It includes sixty, 60 second plays that have been written by sixty playwrights to celebrate the sixty years of new writing at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough. Twenty of the plays are by established writers; twenty by emerging writers and twenty plays by community writers that were invited to submit their minute long play earlier this year. All the plays are, and will remain anonymous, 29 written by women and 31 by men. Spot your friends, SJT favourites and famous names from the list of playwrights. The recordings were made on location at our previous homes: Scarborough Library and Westwood Campus and our current home here at Westborough that used to be The Odeon.
