The Fabulous season gives the Gate the chance to invite a rich mix of storytellers from around the world to perform for one or two nights only. Without special effects and with minimal props, the performances will go back to the bare and fundamental roots of theatre: the power of one person with a story to tell. Spanning a wide range of traditions and cultures these two exciting weeks will include The Prophet by Kahil Gibran, performed by Renu Setna, Vayu Naidu in The First Impulse, and new pieces of work by Patrice Naiambana and Wonderful Beast.
