In homage to the mythologist Joseph Campbell, Rise to Vertex playfully explores the composition of the hero's journey, and how this repeating, archetypal narrative is traced by the heroes of myth, religion, modern pop culture and our everyday lives. What makes a hero and what do they journey for? In Rise to Vertex, Stitch Theatre take on the role of the hero with energy, charisma and unflinching dedication. Together they dress as the hero, face trials and share in moments of victory, failure and sacrifice.
