Like a firework, an experience of theatre can burn brightly in the moment, yet its traces, like sulphur and smoke remain hanging in the air. We See Fireworks is a unique archive of remarkable performances or strange performative moments that can only exist together in our imagination. Memories are whispered in the darkness by the original participants, telling of improbable theatre shows, lonely encounters, ghost rides and intimate meetings. Each audience member is invited to experience a short one-on-one performance and then add their own memory to this growing international collection, becoming a participant in an act of mass remembrance, wiring us back into the important moments we have all been part of making.
