A Cabaret of Horrors (Grand Guignol) archiveLa Compagnie du Carnage is the only company in France still producing the legendary 'Grand Guignol' (Theatre of Horrors) and will be the first to bring 'Grand Guignol' in England since 1908. The line-up in this unique treat for gothic horror fans will include Edgar Allen Poe's The Masgue of the Red Death and The Operations of Professor Verdier, first performed a the Theatre du Grand Guignol in Paris in 1907. The latter production is a homage to The Rocky Horror Show, which itself owes much to Grand Guignol in its blend of humour and horror. Lastly, A Meeting with the Phantom has been specially commissioned for the tour and will complete the triple bill. <a href="http://members.tripod.co.uk/andco/andcoindex.html">website/a>
