A Girl Called Owl is a quirky, heart-breaking one-woman show told in two parts. It begins with a new friendship between two ten-year-old girls, in the heat of a small town South African summer, and finds them again six years later. A story about growing up different in the middle of nowhere; a story about growing up where nothing grows.
