An award-winning, darkly comic thriller follows the lives of two unemployed young men who fake the symptoms of mental illness to claim benefits. Their drunken lifestyles lead Mike and Dave into ridiculously amusing situations, and eventually to a police cell and mental hospital. Things start to hot up when they find themselves mixed up in a murder case, after a mysterious stranger leaves them a briefcase of money... and a whole heap of trouble.
