Action follows on from the outstanding achievement of last year's Citizens' Theatre Community Performance Project Driving Out A Devil, an evening of early works by Bertolt Brecht. Action is a rare opportunity to see four short plays by Sam Shepard - the most influential American playwright of his generation. A new company of community performers, drawn from the heart of Glasgow, takes on the challenge of performing Shepard's startling and surreal fragments of the late 20th century existence.
