Araba's Song archiveThe story follows eight generations of one family whose tale is passionately passed from mother to daughter beginning in their African Tribal homelands in 1781 until it reaches modern metropolitan Britain. It is a story of pain, tears and brutal punishment, as well as a story of cunning, wit and ruthless survival. Above all this is a story of hope and most importantly - freedom! The 1st was stolen, the 2nd resilient, the 3rd was cunning, the 4th clever and so the 5th was born free. The 6th was searching. We lost the 7th, but the 8th was a survivor, the 9th stood her ground so that you will triumph! The journey of a treasure, from mothers, through daughters to you.
