The Maltings is delighted to welcome Berwick Middle School performing A Midsummer Night's Dream, probably the best known and most loved play in all of Shakespeare's works. As conceived by Shakespeare 4 Kidz and performed by Berwick Middle School, this production is an hilarious musical romp. The Dream is about love and marriage, and what can go wrong when courting couples change partners and fairies get involved... Add to this already volatile mix a group of misguided workmen seeking fame and fortune as actors at the court of the local Duke, and the scene is set for mayhem. The exuberant music belted out by a full chorus and orchestra is sure to have you humming the tunes as you leave the theatre.
