Jane and Andrew's pleasant country house might well be described as 'accident-prone as we discover a number of people have already met an unfortunate end in embarrassing circumstances. When their daughter's young man, Geoff, arrives for the weekend he is unaware of the house's reputation and from an overheard conversation he gets the idea that their demise was due to something more sinister than 'an accident . Hilarious mishaps ensue as visitors and bodies appear and mysteriously disappear, and Geoff's fears grow as the family strive to hide the mounting evidence; 'for the sake of appearances ....
