A work of art. A slice of Virtual Reality. A journey. A dance. A spiritual experience. A new play. First performed during the Stockton International Riverside Festival, the multi-media installation Blue and Beyond, has grown and developed to include dance, music, and film of the Virtual Reality journey, using the colour blue and binary code. Synaesthesia means a fusion of the senses. Artists Michelle Tripp and Dave Allinson have explored ways of bridging the gaps between the five senses, together with the relationship between science, technology, religion and art.
