Sylvia Gellburg is alarmed by the rise of Hitler in Europe, but how does this explain her sudden and mystifying paralysis? No one can help her - least of all her work-obsessed husband. When Dr Hyman takes on her case he finds himself playing a dangerous game where his interests are more than just professional.
