Two days, 15 years later. Burnt toast. Boring sex. Viennetta. Knife roulette. Quick Pol and Average Alfred have the life they dreamt of: calm and simple. But then she arrived. Burnt Toast looks to explore complexities of relationships - be it simple interactions within a neighbourhood, unrequited familial love, the vanilla-sex-kind of relationship love or the sort that results in Burnt Toast. The relationship that Quick Pol has to her little town, and her sense of obligation over desire, can be seen anywhere and can affect anyone, regardless of who and where.
