Winner of the Herald Angel Award and Total Theatre Award, Edinburgh Fringe 2012 Caesarean Section is about suicidal impulse and the involuntary force that pulls us back from the brink. Using intense physicality, Teatr ZAR deliver a powerful performance through music and movement. The music was developed from a base of polyphonic Corsican songs woven with Bulgarian, Romanian, Icelandic and Chechen influences.
