The play is set in 1991, the year of the Meadowell riots, and takes place both on a rundown Tyneside estate, and in a well-to-do Newcastle suburb. When a well-meaning middle-class teacher gets involved in the fortunes of a young pupil in an attempt to prevent more violence, the results become increasingly unpredictable and alarming. Contains scenes of a sexual nature. Suitable for age 15 and over.
