Once upon a time quite soon, on a lovely Saturday morning, the King and the Prince will address the people of Guildford from the balcony of the Guildhall, on the High Street. The Prince is seeking a bride, and he spends much of the day mingling with shoppers, meeting and greeting all the eligible ladies of the town. Of course, he is occasionally distracted. He keeps accidentally bumping into a certain young woman by the name of Cinderella. (And then later, sort of bumping into her on purpose, if truth be told.) Cinderella's step-sisters are also keen to get the Prince's attention, and they've crafted a few of their own unique musical ways to stand out from the crowd. The afternoon is taken up with The Fairy Godmother's Ball for the very young ladies and gentlemen of the town, as well as an official Wedding Rehearsal outside the Guildhall, accompanied by some lovely music. There's also an awful lot of shopping going on, because it's very important to have just the right thing to wear, if you're lucky enough to go to the ball.Presented byStory Un (Ltd).

Following on from a series of successful events for people with learning disabilities, such as The BEAUTIFUL OCTOPUS and The DANDY LION clubs, WEST YORKSHIRE PLAYHOUSE will hold a ‘relaxed’ performance of their family show CINDERELLA. Designed specifically for those with learning disabilities, the relaxed performance will offer a more informal atmosphere than a traditional night out at the theatre. This will be the first time that any UK theatre has offered this kind of performance for one of their productions.Corporate Sponsor Irwin Mitchell Solicitors.
