Connected: (as we are) is an original and exciting piece of visual theatre that combines text, movement, music and image to explore some of the human implications of living in an increasingly virtual world. Each and every part of the vast infrastructure of the Internet is created by people, people who leave traces of themselves all across the network for anyone to see. Taking these traces as a starting point, the ensemble performers have devised a piece that is thought provoking, sometimes hilarious, even unsettling, but above all relevant. Devised using the words and images of others without their knowledge or consent, Connected: (as we are) is a piece of theatre that reflects the medium it was made from: the Internet.
