Cleo, Ken is screaming blue murder at the state of his dressing room while Sid, in his brand new caravan, turns his attention from his naive dresser to a Nubian handgirl. Then in walks Babs, 'The New Girl' and future Mrs Ronnie Knight, turning Sid's world on its head. This play, originally entitled
[Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick] was first staged at the Royal National Theatre and won the Olivier Award for Best Comedy in 1999. It was then adapted and directed by Terry Johnson as a film for ITV under the title
Cor, Blimey!.
