Dance the Colour Blue archiveDance The Colour Blue is a meditation on the silent grief we carry for the people we once were. During a shift at The Everlasting Arms, Nicky meets pub regular, Mikey, and is reminded of a life beyond the daubed walls of her lonely flat. As their acquaintance grows, he shares a possession of value with her which turns out to be a quest for home. Slowly she succumbs to the routine of the regulars, their camaraderie and pranks; grateful of their existence. Before long, Nicky realises she too is on a quest for home - a place that has never existed.
