Madame, a failed fifties singer, lives with Francoise, her long-suffering companion, in a crumbling Victorian house. Long into the night they plot their revenge on her three disloyal lovers. One by one these ex-flames innocently accept her invitation to explain themselves and their reasons for leaving her all those years ago, unaware of her true intentions towards them. But once sweet revenge is complex Madame's joy turns to horror as Francoise herself announces shocking and sensational revelations.
