Glasgow 1965 and there's never a dull moment in Mrs Husks' theatrical boarding house. Singer Johnny Ramone is desperate to make it to the top and his weird and wonderful housemates are just as starstruck. Madcap soon turns to mayhem and an hilarious comedy of misunderstanding unfolds when Harman Katz, an illusionist with a sideline in philanthropic murder, moves in and thinks he can help settle some old scores.
