The Asterion Players are a new theatre company founded by The Friends of Jorge Luis Borges Worldwide Society. Their aim is to promote the love of reading and the joy of understanding significant philosophical and poetical works. Based on a careful selection of texts and biographical investigation, interpreted in a theatrical context, the Asterion Players will offer an insight into the human heart of sublime works of Literature. Of interest for both new readers and scholars, these two performances will outline the stuff Borges and Shakespeare's dreams are made off, while bringing to light authentic and surprising news about the passions at work in the greatest pens of Poetry.
