A small flat above the Bedford pub in Balham. Billie clutches her Tesco bag-for-life. Tate mops her wound from a tipsy fall outside. Billie bewitches Tate who, though three decades younger, is infatuated and a little astounded at his luck. Tate and his flatmate Max invite Billie to live with them and she agrees, clueless as to who she's replacing.
