Details

Far from the River archiveTeacher Ishioka is concerned that one of her pupils, the son of the gangster Nosaka, has been missing for almost two months. Nosaka doesn't want to report his son's disappearance to the police for fear of fuelling the gossip that his business is in crisis as his followers are defecting to a rival gang. When Ishioka finally visits the gangster's home, they find they have more in common than just the boy.
