FRET derives itself from a certain sensibility that is represented perhaps most distinctly in nightclubs and the collective vibrations found within them. It seeks to tell a story that resonates with the aspirations of modern youth culture and its inherent motivations and turbulence. Initially conceptualized at the National Theatre Studio, FRET aims to create multidisciplinary environment that involves performance, text, movement, projections, live percussion and electronica.
